An ISO standard for testing the protein quality of vegetable flours

Angela Orlando, director of altogether with coordinator of the Oils Committee of IRAM María del Carmen Hernández, are able to accept the initiative that is now an international standard and is often used in commercial contracts.

“The very industry generated the need to demonstrate to the world the protein quality of vegetable flours. After this argentine initiative, a project was presented that was developed and today we see it concretized in an international standard. We have to demonstrate high quality of our flours and we are achieving it. We have formalized an ISO standard from the argentine oil industry in collaboration with IRAM”, said Dr. Orlando.
